We created a strong brand architecture and package design for Ortega’s extensive portfolio of products. The new look is fresh, bold, and powerful. It is modern but continues to be linked to its longstanding, traditional Mexican heritage.
A powerful logo and strong bull’s eye graphic help to differentiate each variant. The ownable pattern and blue color have stopping power and are easily found on the shelf.
The new design was first used to launch two innovation items: vegetable-rich Cauliflower and Corn Taco Shells and Cauliflower and Corn Tortillas.
The new look was carried across all twelve of Ortega’s category segments.
A new bold and contemporary Street Taco Sauce line are recognizable as a segment of the portfolio but deliver a more edgier, urban tone.
